1.The Club shall be open by invitation to cricketers who have walked all or part of the Wayfarers Walk, Hampshire.
2.The Honorary Clubhouse shall be the Flower Pots Inn, Cheriton, Hampshire, www.flowerpots.f2s.com and for the purpose of Rule 1, crossing the Flower Pots Inn car park is deemed to be part of the Wayfarers Walk..
3.The Club shall play cricket in the true friendly tradition to the highest standards of fair play and members shall take it in turns to arrange matches and hospitality in the spirit of the Club.
4.Members are required to complete the Walk after each and every match [Rule 2 applies].To maintain Club morale, ‘honorary Flower Pots status’ is automatically conferred on any pub or bar where the Captain or a Committee member are found.
5.Since medieval times pilgrim Wayfarers have called on the Hospital of St Cross, just south of Winchester, receiving a ‘Dole’ consisting of refreshments of beer and bread.To honour this ancient tradition, Hampshire Wayfarers will provide the first [thirst?] liquid refreshments to all members of the opposing team after every match.
